Precious: Tell us about your previous work experience.

Precious: Your route to the job?
Southbank University BSc Biotechnology, Promotions Co-ordinator (promoted to Manager) at Media Village, Promotions Manager (promoted to Head of Dance Promotions) at Warner Music, Mid-morning show at Galaxy 102.2 Birmingham, and Breakfast Show at Choice FM.
Precious: Describe a typical working day.
I don’t have typical day. Everyday is different. Sometimes I’m interviewing artists, or recording voice-overs for adverts or meeting with record company executives to discuss their artists. I also do lost of work for charities and schools / colleges. They often ask me to speak to student and parents to keep them motivated.
Precious: What do you love most about your job?
The interaction with a variety of people. They all have interesting stories to tell.
Precious: How about the downsides?
The insecurity. You never know what's around the corner (good or bad).
Precious: Is there a person in your industry whom really inspires you?
Every time I meet someone who is good at their job they inspire me.
Precious: How do you relax?
Reading, watching movies, working out in the gym, and hanging with friends.
Precious: How do you see your career progressing over the next five years?
I have a few plans, but prefer to do them rather than talk about them.
Precious: What has your experience been of achieving a work/life balance?
The entertainment industry can be very consuming because it becomes a big part of your social life, and there are no set hours. It's good to have friends who have different interests and don't work in the same industry as you.
Precious: Any advice to those who wish to follow in your footsteps?
Be yourself. Work hard. Always ask yourself "could I have done a better job?" Be polite. And try to be punctual.
