Virtual Mentor for Small Businesses
Entrepreneurs offered free email crash course to help start-up and stay in business.
Entrepreneurs can now register online for StartQuest, a free email crash course that will provide them with guidance and advice when setting up a business.
Developed by Business Link London, the StartQuest tool sends a series of emails over a seven-week period to ensure entrepreneurs have the right information to start up and stay in business.
In the first week of the email course, entrepreneurs receive a daily email alert on issues such as researching your market, choosing premises and legal considerations. Thereafter, entrepreneurs receive a weekly alert on issues such as protecting your ideas and what to do before you start selling.
The subscription process, which takes a matter of minutes, guarantees each email service is specific to the industry and region of the proposed business idea. Each email provides an introduction to a subject area that is vital to consider when starting up, as well as details of other organisations that can provide advice and support in the area.
Stepheny Mayers, e-communications manager, Business Link London explains: "There are several things people need to think about when setting up a business and the StartQuest tool ensures no aspect is forgotten. It provides step-by-step guidance on the areas to consider making the start-up process manageable, it's like having a virtual mentor who points you in the right direction."
The tool is free and can be found at: www.bllondon.co.uk/startquest
