and Dianne (Sharon Leal) and Terry (Tyler Perry) - eagerly reconnect, sharing
news about their lives and relationships. But their intimate week in paradise
is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Sheila’s ex-husband, Mike (Richard
T. Jones), who hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy and win her back.
The others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment
and fidelity...
WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO? opened nationwide on Friday, April 2, 2010 playing in 2155 theatres. It debuted in the #2 slot with a box office tally of $29.2 million. It spent three weeks in the Top 10 and grossed over $59 million in US box office. It is released on DVD in the UK on the 17th January 2011.
