Event | The Business of being Creative

The world of female entrepreneurship is rich in diversity and creativity; to celebrate this our next networking event places the spotlight on women who have started and grown a business in the creative industries.

Whether you are thinking of starting a business, have just started up or are looking to grow, join us and our panel as they share their stories and give tips and practical advice that will help you take your business or idea further.

This will be followed by a Q&A and there will be time for networking over a glass of wine or juice, so do come ready to connect! Book now

The panel includes:

Heidy Rehman, Founder and Managing Director, Rose and Willard.

Heidy Rehman

Heidy launched Rose & Willard in September 2014 after realising that there was a gap in the market for professional womenswear. She wanted her brand to be ethical (there is no garment worker exploitation anywhere along their value chain), eco- friendly (their carbon footprint is kept to an absolute minimum) and to support British manufacturing (all product is made at their London studio). Their aim is to make an enduring luxury product that conveys both professionalism and femininity at an affordable price. Heidy is the PRECIOUS Awards Entrepreneur of the Year 2016.

Diane Dunkley

Diane Dunkley is founder of RM2 Music, a music management company, booking agency and record company all rolled into one.

Diane’s first full-time foray into the music industry was with the company KIKIT, a company formed by a friend Kiran Sharma. The role allowed her to bask for the first time, in the joy of earning a living from her passion. Overnight, Diane went from London Underground Business Development Manager to being Head of Tour Management with a company that represented Prince, one of the world’s musical superstars.

Diane launched RM2 Music in 2000. The launch of her own business opened doors to acting as European Agent for artists such as Leon Ware, a singer/songwriter who has written for Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson and another client, the US R&B group Mint Condition.

Reintroducing Diane’s clients into today’s music scene has led to her managing more up and coming artists. RM2 Records has signed acts such as Timotha Lanae, Loved Locked Out and Four Femmes on the Thames and secured airplay across Europe and beyond.
Diane is the winner of the 2013 PRECIOUS Awards Business of the Year.

At the age of 26, Clare launched Premae Skincare online. The brand became Award nominated just 40 days after launching, quickly gained international press coverage (Alternative Medicine Mag, Marie Claire U.S, French Cosmopolitan Mag) due to the high-end efficacy and proven results of the products.
